System requirements

Micro Environment Toolkit for WebSphere Studio integrates with Workplace Client Technology, Micro Edition to facilitate the building, testing, and deployment of server managed client software. The features of the Micro Environment Toolkit can be integrated into WebSphere Studio Device Developer (installed directly from an update site on the web using the software update functionality) or from the WebSphere Client Technology, Micro Edition 5.7.0 or 5.7.1 CD, or from the production version of WebSphere Client Technology, Micro Edition available for purchase from IBM Passport Advantage. Linux, Windows XPWebSphere Studio Device Developer (5.7.0 or 5.7.1) is required. If you are developing Web applications for Extension Services, then either WebSphere Studio Site Developer (5.1.0 or 5.1.1), or WebSphere Studio Application Developer (5.1.0 or 5.1.1) is also required.Refer to system requirements for integrated development environment alternatives specified under the Software column.
