Dynamic properties of a J2EE resource instance of
the type IMSAPPCConnectionFactory:
IMSAPPCConnectionFactory instance name
- The name of the J2EE resource instance
IMSAPPCConnectionFactory instance description
- Up to 4096 characters of descriptive text
IMSAPPCConnectionFactory name
- The name of the J2EE resource of which this is an
instance
System name
- The name of the system, for which this J2EE resource
instance provides connection data
ManagedConnectionFactory class name
- Fully qualified class name of the ManagedConnectionFactory
to be used to create the particular type of Connection Factory resource
that is required
- For an IMSAPPCConnectionFactory resource definition,
the ManagedConnectionFactory class name is "com.ibm.connector2.ws390.imsappc.IMSAPPCManagedConnectionFactory"
and cannot be changed.
IMS LU name
- Specifies the name of the LU that will be used to
initiate an APPC conversation (i.e., connection) with a target IMS subsystem
- Defined by the ACBNAME parameter on an LUADD statement
in an APPCPMxx parmlib member for the system on which the target IMS resides
and associated with the target IMS
- Maximum length of 17 characters
-
If the LUname is unique within the VTAM network, specify the LUname.
If the LUname is not unique within the network, specify
WebSphere/390 local LU name
- Specifies the name of the LU that is associated with
the Websphere/390 server where this IMSAPPCConnectionFactory will be invoked.
- Defined by the ACBNAME parameter on an LUADD statement
in an APPCPMxx parmlib member for the system where the Websphere/390 server
will run.
- Specify as a 1 to 8 character LU name as defined
by the ACBNAME parameter on the LUADD statement.
Specifying a fully qualified name with a networkID will result in an
error.
VTAM logmode name
- Specifies the name of the VTAM logmode that designates
the network properties to be associated with APPC conversations (i.e.,
connections) between the local Websphere/390 LU and the IMS LU
- Logmode names appear in the VTAMlog mode table, which
resides in your installation's VTAMLIB data set
Conversation time-out value
- Specifies the length of time, in minutes, for the
IMS APPC Connector to wait for a response to an APPC allocate, send, or
receive request.
- Enter a value in seconds from 0 to 1440 (24 hours)
