IBM Service Management Platform

The IBM Service Management Platform enables you to standardize and share information that integrates people, processes, information and technology for real business results. The IBM Tivoli Change and Configuration Management Database (CCMDB), includes an open, federated CMDB to automate process execution, simplify architectural complexity and help reduce incident and problem management costs.

The IBM Service Management Platform includes automated, pre-configured and customizable process workflows for the change and configuration management processes. The IBM Tivoli Change and Configuration Management Database (CCMDB), includes an open, federated CMDB to automate process execution, simplify architectural complexity and help reduce incident and problem management costs. The CCMDB provides rich configuration details of configuration items (CIs) with automated, agentless discovery of the assets and their application dependencies, and the ability to audit and control configuration items with full configuration and change management processes. This solution is an integration platform for IT processes and operational management products by federating data in and out of the CMDB.
