Day 1: Opening General Session

Day 2 General Session
The momentum continues on Tuesday with a look at how the convergence of business and IT can enable organizations to optimize investments, accelerate business growth and manage risk and compliance. Robert LeBlanc will illustrate that now is the time for IT to transform processes via the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and how Service Management is the key to that successful transformation. Laura Sanders will discuss the IBM Service Management roadmap, including linkages to SOA across all segments, and share her insight on the integration of the Tivoli portfolio and new product announcements. Joining Robert and Laura is Christoph Locher, from Swiss Reinsurance Comapany, who will provide an IBM client perspective of IBM Service Management within the infrastructure of a premier financial enterprise.

Day 3 General Session

Steve Sams will shine the spotlight on IBM’s Project Big Green, which is defining leadership in data center energy efficiency by helping organizations cut operational costs by 50% while positively impacting the earth’s environment. Alan Ganek and Chris O’Connor will continue the green theme, emphasizing the need to manage energy related capital and operational costs in the context of risk and delivery of IT and services and featuring a Green Data Center IBM Business Partner panel. Ron May of DTE joins our IBM speakers to share how IBM Service Management helped DTE standardize processes and work practices across their various business units with a single platform, enabling enterprise-wide visibility into both assets and services to drive corporate performance.
