Enterprise Asset Management Subtracks

Production
In this track we are particularly looking for manufacturing and pharmaceutical companies to highlight their technology initiatives reflecting any or all of the following improvements: extended asset life and maximized ROI/ROA, increased equipment up time and output quality, optimized labor efficiency and equipment maintenance, and improved management of asset-related parts and material inventory. We are especially interested in talks around shop-floor IT that concentrate on managing IT assets built into production equipment. Other areas that will be considered include; report writing and analysis/data validation, mobile computing, tailoring, implementation, wide scale deployment and business system integration.

Facilities
If you are maintaining a physical plant such as a university, hospital, museum or corporate headquarters, we would like to hear from you . This track will provide you the opportunity to highlight your technology initiatives reflecting any or all of the following improvements: efficiently maintained trouble-free environments; optimized labor efficiency and facility maintenance; enhanced customer service levels; and government safety and environmental regulation compliance. We are particularly interested in hearing about use of the product for datacenter management such as space planning or HVAC climate control.

Transportation
This track will provide you the opportunity to highlight your technology initiatives reflecting any or all of the following improvements: increased vehicle availability, reliability and service life; optimized labor efficiency of fleet management; safety regulation compliance; and warranty tracking for claim handling and cost management. We are particularly interested in hearing about use of the product for maintenance problem solving, integration to monitoring systems, mobile computing and other unique ways the solution is being used.

Service Providers
Whether you are a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or managing shared services from within your own company, you are providing services to a customer. Our solutions are designed to support service as a business. We would like to hear from you about your experiences of improving margins, increasing revenue, managing risk and/or achieving greater customer satisfaction with the use of our Service Provider offerings. Please share your experiences with how simple it is to add new customers, manage customer agreements with service levels and price schedules, and automate redundant work items. We would also like to hear about how the billing process has improved your days sales outstanding, or minimized disputes for payment from your customers. for report writing and analysis, tailoring, implementation, wide scale deployment at multiple locations and business system integration.

Industry
These tracks will consist of dedicated sessions by industry segment. This is an opportunity to present a case study, drive a focus group, or run a panel discussion showcasing how IBM Maximo Asset management adapts to and or supports your particular industry. Presentations will be accepted from diverse user communities such as Energy & Utilities, Chemicals & Petroleum, Government, and Telecommunications. IBM will provide panel discussion coordination assistance if you wish to contact your industry peers to bring a session to fruition. Maximo Utility Working Group members should submit abstracts under this category to support their annual dedicated track.

Management
This track is designed for companies that have implemented an innovative strategic asset management process, utilizing maintenance best practices, which has resulted in significant ROI/ROA. Areas of concentration may be in the form of extending asset life and reliability, supply chain optimization, safety, and operational efficiency deemed crucial in achieving optimal business performance. We are particularly interested in green (corporate sustainability) initiatives, workforce knowledge, and risk and compliance in asset intensive industries.
