IBM® Tivoli® OMEGAMON® XE for Databases helps you proactively manage and tune your enterprise database environment

It monitors critical elements (table size, locking conflicts) to prevent and resolve problems of application or database availability, resource use and transaction throughput.

• Monitors virtually any platform, database or application, including DB2®, Oracle, Microsoft® SQL Server and Sybase
• Offers a full range of performance information about key resource usage and activity
• Provides predefined scripts and commands that enable automation to correct performance and availability problems when they occur, significantly reducing the time and costs associated with manual intervention
• Operating systems supported: AIX, HP Unix, Windows
