IBM® Tivoli® Netcool® Gateways help you share events and data with other software programs.

They provide bi-directional integration between IBM Tivoli Netcool solutions and third-party applications, databases, help desk and other support systems.

• Alerts between more than one Tivoli Netcool/ ObjectServer® can be exchanged quickly and easily for failover and high resilience.
• Integration is possible with a long list of leading, third-party applications, such as databases, Operational Support Systems, help desk, Customer Relationship Management, enterprise management systems, performance management systems and many more.
• Because the gateways are bi-directional, alerts can flow from the source ObjectServer to the target ObjectServer or application and feedback to the source ObjectServer can be provided.
• The gateways can be configured to send alert information to a help desk system or to archive alerts to a database in support of compliance and related requirements.
• The gateways are also available for RDBMSs, including Informix®, Oracle®, Sybase®, ODBC/JDBC-compliant data stores and more.
• Changes made to the contents of either the source ObjectServer or the destination ObjectServer replicate its alerts, acting as a synchronization tool.
