IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration

Effective December 12, 2007, IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration V5.1 will be withdrawn from Marketing. IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration - Host Edition V4.1 was withdrawn from Marketing in September 2007. These announcements only remove the Tivoli branded part numbers for these products. They continue to be available as components of two other offerings, IBM WebSphere MQ Extended Security Edition V6.0 and WebSphere MQ Extended Security Edition for z/OS V6.0.

IBM WebSphere MQ Extended Security Edition and WebSphere MQ Extended Security Edition for z/OS are bundles of IBM WebSphere MQ along with IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration. For customers with existing IBM WebSphere MQ licenses wanting to upgrade those licenses to IBM WebSphere MQ Extended Security Edition, there are separate upgrade part numbers and license charges that will continue to deliver the code currently contained in IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration or IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration - Host Edition. The license charge for these upgrade offerings does not change as the result of this announcement.

Customers with entitlements for IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration or IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration - Host Edition and who are current on maintenance will see those entitlements migrated in IBM's Support systems to equivalent licenses for IBM WebSphere MQ Extended Security Edition and/or IBM WebSphere MQ Extended Security Edition for z/OS, for those customers current on IBM WebSphere MQ maintenance.
