IBM is committed to driving open standards based development of the SOA community. IBM contributes to over 50 SOA-based standards committees. IBM Tivoli participates in Web Services security standards including WS-Security, WS-Federation, WS-Trust and WS-Policy.
IBM Tivoli participates in other Web Services standards such as Web Services Distributed Management (WSDM) and WS-Resource Framework (WS-RF) and has recently published a proposed Architecture and Roadmap for Management Using Web Services in conjunction with HP and Computer Associates. The roadmap, the WSDM standard itself and other related documents can be found on the IBM WSDM site.
IBM Tivoli, WebSphere and other product groups within IBM are actively participating in the OASIS Technical Committee along with other software and hardware vendors and customers to define standards covering Web Services Distributed Management Tivoli participates in and supports many management standards that are complementary to the Web Services management standards, such as JMX, CIM, SNMP, ARM, etc.
