The IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact 3.1 is a five-day course designed for the system administrator responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the Netcool/Impact product.
The course takes students through practical exercises, teaching both common policies in use and covering key development concepts. After covering some introductory material, the class focuses on learning a new concept and applying that concept in a policy building lab. Each lab progressively builds upon previous labs, offering the students the opportunity to input policies and to debug and explore how each policy works. A Netcool/OMNIbus and sample relational database installation is available in class to use with the Netcool/Impact product.
