This course is built on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 Update 5 servers. The final configuration of the classroom will be used in future courses so that the base scenario can be expanded.

Objectives
After taking this course, the student will be able to:

Describe the components of the system architecture
Install and configure the prerequisite middleware and any required fixpacks
Install IBM Tivoli Identity Manager
Start IBM Tivoli Identity Manager and verify the installation by logging in as the IBM Tivoli Identity Manager administrator
Create a user account for IBM Tivoli Identity Manager
Use the system configuration program to change the behavior of IBM Tivoli Identity Manager
Install, start and configure an adapter to provision a user account on the adapter platform using secure communications
Use IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator as an agent to provision accounts to a resource for which there is no adapter available
Use IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator as an identity feed to add users in a bulk load fashion from a simple CSV file
