Course description

IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business provides a wide range of authorization and management solutions. This Web-based course focuses on managing users, groups, and access control. An overview of Tivoli Access Manager domains, proxy policy server, and delegated administration is also covered in this course. Accompanied by 2 hours of remote labs.


Objectives

After taking this course, the student will be able to:

  • Describe the role of the user registry in IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business.
  • Use pdadmin commands and Web Portal Manager to manage users and groups.
  • Create domains to insulate e-business environments.
  • Create delegated administrators to delegate domain management responsibilities to lower-level administrators.
