IBM Tivoli Netcool/NeuSecure 3.0 Advanced Administrator

This advanced course is a two-day intensive training built for the advanced administrator, who currently possesses a solid foundation in Netcool/NeuSecure system administration and user methodologies. Building on that foundation, instruction is given on how to plan for a successful deployment of a NeuSecure system. This includes security architecture best practices, conceptualization, and identification of network appropriate appliances and devices.

Techniques in problem resolution and policy compliance are additional components to this course. Steps are shown how to gather evidence to resolve systems problems, and an understanding of end to end data flow through the NeuSecure system shores up the potential problem areas in the environment where evidence might be found. In a policy compliance program, NeuSecure can assist as a tool to monitor and comply with legislative policies and regulations in both network security and data integrity. Instruction is given on how rules, watchlists, and architectural components are used in policy compliance.
