    • This unit also explains how to install an IBM Tivoli Identity Manager Agent. You will get the opportunity to create the agent administration account, install the agent software, and start the agent.
  6. Creating Provisioning Policies
    • This unit describes how provisioning policies authorize users to have access to the various resources of the organization. It will discuss the components of a provisioning policy, such as membership, entitlements, provisioning parameter lists, and join directives. You will have the opportunity to create a provisioning policy as well as set join directives.
  7. Creating Identity Policies

  8. Creating Password Policies
    • This unit explains how password policies are used to determine the rules for password creation in IBM Tivoli Identity Manager. You will have the opportunity to create a password policy.
  9. Performing Reconciliation
    • This unit defines reconciliation, explains the different types of reconciliation as well as how to create and run a reconciliation. Once a reconciliation has run, the results can be reviewed to determine if all accounts are authorized. You will have the opportunity to create and run a reconciliation, adopt orphan accounts, as well as create and run a partial reconciliation.
  10. Configuring Provisioning Entitlements
    • This unit describes the functions of the provisioning and advanced provisioning parameter lists found in provisioning policies. Configuration of these lists determines the level of access a user has to a platform once the user account is created. This is done by statically and dynamically populating attribute values. You will have the opportunity to configure both the provisioning and advanced provisioning parameter lists of a provisioning policy.
  11. Creating Service Selection Policies
    • This unit describes how service selection policies determine which account or accounts are most appropriate to provision to a user based on the user’s organizational role or attribute values of their user profile. You will have the opportunity to create a service selection policy and see how specific accounts are provisioned to users.
