Course description

IBM Tivoli Monitoring manages the IT infrastructure, including operating systems, databases, and servers, across distributed and host environments through a single customizable workspace portal.

In this course, you will learn how to implement IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.2 by directly or remotely installing infrastructure components on distributed systems. This course also covers migration or upgrade from previous releases, as well as security, availability, and other infrastructure component management tasks. There are frequent hands-on lab exercises throughout the class.

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Install, configure, and maintain IBM Tivoli Monitor 6.2 and its prerequisites
  • Install and configure Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Agents
