The IBM Configuration Assistance Tool (ICAT) is used to build and manage the OMEGAMON run-time environment (RTE). You learn planning considerations for medium to large mainframe OMEGAMON installations, explore the batch load process, and examine how to upgrade an environment. You also explore SMP/E considerations and maintenance issues.
