Course description

IBM Tivoli System Administration for Enterprise IT and Asset Management is a hands-on scenario based course designed for individuals who manage Enterprise assets and and IT assets. Students will learn System Properties, Logging and Managing Appenders, and Organizations, Sites, and Sets through lecture, instructor demonstration, and labs. Students will use the Domains and Database Configuration applications to create and modify domains and database objects and their attributes. Students will also set up automation through cron tasks, communication templates, actions, notifications, and escalations. Additionally, students will use the Workflow designer application and modify and administer a workflow.

After completing this course, students should be able to:

  • Automate the application.
  • Administer Workflows.
