IBM Tivoli Security Product Considerations for WebSphere and IBM Directory - Introduction is Part 1 of a series of three self paced CBT courses which will enable attendees to get the maximum performance from IBM Tivoli Security products. These courses describe and discuss the implementation considerations for IBM Tivoli Products in WebSphere, DB2 and IBM Directory server environments. They also address tuning WebSphere, DB2, IBM Directory Server and AIX to achieve optimum performance with IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business and IBM Tivoli Privacy Manager for e-business.
This Part 1 CBT module provides an overview of performance tuning, DB2, IBM Directory Server, WebSphere, and IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business products. It also addresses design and implementation considerations for IBM Tivoli Security products.

- General computer literacy in a GUI environment
- System administration level knowledge of IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business, or

- Basic understanding of Websphere
- Basic understanding of DB2
- Basic understanding of IBM Directory Server
- Knowledge of file navigation, file editing, and command prompt actions for the operating system to be used (Unix or Windows)
