This course teaches you how to implement an integrated IBM Tivoli Security Management solution by using a case study approach that introduces the concepts and activities related to integrating IBM Tivoli Identity Manager 4.5.1, IBM Tivoli Access Manager 5.1, IBM Tivoli Directory Server 5.2, IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator 5.2, the IBM Websphere Application Server, and Open Source applications.
The course begins with an overview of the proposed integrated environment. Each of the IBM Tivoli security products used in this course are reviewed. The steps to integrate each of these products are covered in a lab setting, enabling the student to gain the necessary skills to deploy a centralized security management environment centered around IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, with authentication and authorization control managed with IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business and IBM Tivoli Directory Server.
In addition, IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator will be used to illustrate the integration of a sample Open Source application into the management environment.
Objectives
This course enables you to:
Install and configure IBM Tivoli Identity Manager 4.5.1 for an integrated environment scenario.
Install and configure IBM Tivoli Identity Manager 4.5.1 agents for Access Manager and Access Manager GSO.
Utilize IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business to secure the web space using WebSEAL.
Implement SSO capability to open source applications using GSO resources.
Integrate IBM Tivoli Identity Manager with an open source application custom user registry using IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator.
Build IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator Assembly Lines, Connectors, and DSML2 listeners as they relate to an IBM Tivoli Identity Manager custom endpoint.
Prepare IBM Tivoli Identity Manager Identity Policies, Password Policies, ACLs, Provisioning Policies, and custom services for an integrated security management environment.
Integrate IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business with the IBM Websphere Application Server by externalizing Websphere security roles to Access Manager.
