Both IBM and Rational Software were founding members of the initial Eclipse.org consortium in 2001, and today IBM Rational is a Strategic Member of the Eclipse Foundation. IBM Rational ClearQuest - IBM Rational's defect and change tracking tool for efficient capturing, tracking, and managing any type of change. This integration provides Rational ClearQuest functionality within Eclipse 2.0, 2.1 & 3.0, allowing users to select and run queries from a database, view record details, and submit new records.
The combination of the Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest plug-ins provides a complete SCM solution in Eclipse so users do not have to leave their IDE to perform the most common SCM tasks.
