Overview

IBM® WebSphere® Everyplace® Access provides email/PIM synchronization for mobile workers

IBM has announced the withdrawal of marketing of WebSphere Everyplace Access. See “highlights.” See Lotus Expeditor software for offline and mobile composite applications.

  • WebSphere Everyplace Access Version 5.1 software provides Personal Information Manager (PIM) and e-mail synchronization.
  • It can also provide backend integration, administration and management, and functions for building, deploying and managing mobile solutions, supporting both connected and disconnected operations for real-time and intermittent access to enterprise backend applications.
  • The software supports multiple applications from a single integrated framework, which simplifies skills and systems requirements.
  • It contains other IBM products and technologies for use in the software environment, including IBM DB2® Everyplace, the Everyplace Client, and the Everyplace Toolkit.
  • It is powered by Eclipse technology and requires IBM Rational® Application Developer.
  • Operating systems supported: AIX, Sun Solaris, Windows
