Mayflower Software Adds Dual Engine to SpamSentinel for IBM Lotus Notes and Domino
ORLANDO, Fla. January 21, 2008 -- Mayflower Software today announced that its latest version of leading anti-spam solution for IBM Lotus Notes and Domino, SpamSentinel, now includes a second engine to identify and block spam. The release of SpamSentinel Duo has been in response to increasing amounts of unsolicited mail, which now make up over 90% of inbound Internet messages.
"With this two-pronged approach, we can now further classify incoming spam and block 99.8% of it. In addition, around 80% of spam can be safely deleted before it reaches your mail system. And, the small risk of false positives is even further reduced!", said Frank Paolino, CEO of Mayflower Software and the product's chief architect. "We have also 'split' the two engines, to provide load balancing and redundancy".
