FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INNOVATIVE TRAINING SYSTEM FOR IBM LOTUS NOTES AND DOMINO 8

Davalen's Virtual Classroom Incorporates New Lotus Notes and Domino 8 Release

LOTUSPHERE, ORLANDO, FL. January 21, 2008 - A new approach of training to a new version of IBM Lotus Notes and Domino, Davalen, LLC's, a Premier level member of IBM PartnerWorld, innovative Virtual Classroom system provides training for students who hate the hassle of traveling and companies who hate to pay for it.

IBM's impressive release of Lotus Notes and Domino 8 grabbed the Lotus Notes and Domino world by storm becoming one of the most talked about releases in years. In response, Davalen prepared its training facility with not only a quality in-house classroom experience but also expanded their Virtual Classroom to provide more options to their students in 2008.

Davalen announced their first Lotus Notes and Domino 8 training courses will take place in January and they are ready to provide their expert training for the new version in both the traditional and Virtual Classroom setting. The Virtual Classroom allows Lotus Notes and Domino professionals to learn the new functionality of this release without the hassle and expense of travel, a large benefit when developers need to learn more about a new version. Managing Partner Dave Jacob touches on why Davalen expanded their training catalog explaining, "Continuing our relationship with Lotus Notes & Domino since release 3.0 we are excited about using and offering training for release 8.0 with its new collaboration and integration with WebSphere Portal especially within our Virtual Classroom setting."

IBM Certified Instructor and Lotus Notes and Domino developer Ann Hamm is thrilled to offer more possibilities to her students, explaining how far Davalen has come in it's current catalog, "As a Premier level member of IBM PartnerWorld since 1993, Lotus developers know and trust Davalen and it's certified instructors." Proud that herself and her colleagues are both instructors and consultants "all of us have built complex applications with Lotus Notes and Domino as well as in Java, just starting out as regular users with the early releases."

Offering classes in the Virtual Classroom setting for the past two years, Davalen has many satisfied students who have enjoyed watching the progression and innovation that Davalen continues to built.

One such student is Kathy Brown, an employee of Prime, Buchholz & Associates, Inc. Like many others, Brown was hesitant to try the Virtual Classroom. To her surprise however, "Taking the Virtual Class was just like being there. I have taken Davalen courses in person, and this was exactly the same without the commute." Brown further explained by saying, "It was wonderful to be able to take the class without the inconvenience of travel. Set up and instructions were clear and concise, so there were no problems connecting. It really was just like being there. I am hoping to utilize the virtual classroom for my next class with Davalen."

Paul Calhoun, an employee of Net Notes Solutions Unlimited claimed "It was a great experience in that I did not have to travel, but very much felt like I was part of the class." To doubters of distance learning with Davalen, Calhoun continues saying "I was able to ask questions, interact with the instructor and the other students via the phone and see the demonstrations taking place on the 'whiteboard'. I would highly recommend this delivery method."

Offering new opportunities and effective solutions to their clients, Davalen is proving to be an innovative front runner in understanding the needs of Lotus developers as their variety of offerings continues to grow.
