Coda OnDemand System Announces the Release of CodaChat 1.2 at IBM Lotusphere 2008
LOTUSPHERE, ORLANDO, FL. January 21, 2008 - Coda OnDemand Systems, a leading provider of SOA, Integrated Portal and Hosted Solutions across Asia, today announces the release of CodaChat 1.2, a significantly enhanced version of its flagship product CodaChat 1.1, a web-service based, real-time language translation engine for corporate Instant Messaging (IM) and eConferences. It enables real-time translation of multiple language pairs and all permutations of these languages in real-time. CodaChat comprises of an IBM Lotus Sametime 7.5.x plug-in together with web-services and back-end applications hosted by Coda on servers across the globe. New capabilities of CodaChat 1.2 include the introduction of reverse translation, mass activation procedure as well a new unlimited enterprise license scheme.
One key feature of CodaChat 1.2 is the reverse translation function. With this function, users are able to preview their translated messages and make sure the messages have been translated properly before they are sent out.

CodaChat 1.2 also addresses the needs of large enterprises that require 500 or more CodaChat licenses. With this licensing scheme, not only can CodaChat effectively address the translation needs of organizations, it also provides a cost efficient solution in the long run. Another new function in this latest release is the mass license key activation procedure that makes it easier for corporate IT departments to manage and administer the CodaChat licenses.
As per the earlier release, Coda will work closely with customers and business partners to ensure the development of CodaChat continues to meet the practical needs of today's fast changing corporate world.
