Alphalogix showcases Tasica Forms Director ex
Tasica Forms Director extends the IBM Lotus Forms solution for business partners
LOTUSPHERE, ORLANDO, FL. January 21, 2008 - Alphalogix, winner of the 2008 Lotus Award for Best Portal Solution, will showcase the latest version of Tasica Forms Director at Lotusphere 2008 this week in Orlando, Florida in the Product Showcase, booth 435. Tasica Forms Director is a business process automation tool that routes electronic forms with business logic based decisions with no coding necessary, extending the value of IBM Lotus Forms 3.0, the latest version of IBM's leading electronic forms software. Since its launch in spring of 2007, Forms Director has caught the attention of leading IBM electronic forms and portal Business Partners including Ascendant Technology, CorpInfo Services, Alacrinet, and Perficient, who are also set to showcase at this year's event.

IBM Business Partners with expertise in developing Lotus Forms Solutions have gained the most benefit from starting to offer the Tasica Forms Director workflow product. IBM Business Partners, who have not yet partnered with Alphalogix, are quickly signing up for enablement sessions to understand the product's ability to integrate with IBM software such as Lotus Forms, IBM WebSphere Portal and IBM Dashboard Framework.
The IBM Business Partner community has already begun to extend their current IBM Lotus Forms solution offerings with this new tool. At this year's event, IBM representatives, partners and potential customers will be able to see Tasica Forms Director 3.1, the enterprise class workflow system that when combined with IBM Lotus Forms creates a powerful and scalable business process automated suite. The solution provides the ability to create dynamic electronic forms and perform electronic workflow processes while integrating with legacy backend data sources, improving overall productivity and efficiency while saving operational costs.
In addition to working in Eclipse, the same open standard development platform as Lotus Forms, the Tasica Forms Director Portlet Pack offers JSR 168 compliant portlets to integrate business process automation solutions into WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Portal Express. This allows organizations to create role-based business processes that fit perfectly within departmental or individual needs. The solution is also integrated with the IBM Dashboard Framework, allowing for the creation of executive dashboards and key performance indicators based on the data gathered in workflow processes.
Tasica Forms Director 3.1 from Alphalogix continues to expand the functionality, ease of use and integration with IBM content management tools. The latest feature upgrades include:
- Workflow Monitoring: ability to recreate and view data from any electronic form without the overhead of storing the actual form
- Single Sign On: within clustered portal environments
- Dynamic Portlet Interface: workflow portlets that can dynamically change to reflect custom portal themes
At this year's Lotusphere, Alphalogix will also announce the release of Tasica Dynamic Reports, a custom workflow reporting application that pulls workflow data from multiple workflows into customized reports or dashboard metrics allowing management level personnel to see how everyday business processes are running in real time. Designers have the ability to customize the look and feel of the report tables to suit their specific needs. These reports can then be viewed in portlets for the most up-to-date information or exported into Microsoft Excel format or printed from the application itself. Tasica Dynamic Reports can also integrate with enterprise class portals with the Tasica Dynamic Reports Portlet Pack, providing role-based reporting of multiple business processes for managers and executive levels.
