The WebSphere Adapter for Flat Files is available with: The WebSphere Adapter for Flat Files enables integration with applications which provide a basic file interface or export capability. It allows the bidirectional exchange of any type of text or binary file. Example features include: - Provides the ability to parse and serialize native data formats
- write to new files
- append to or overwrite existing files
- poll a directory for new files to deliver to the server
- list, retrieve and delete target files in a directory
- Delimiter record splitting and custom record splitting
- Support for multiple event directories
- An option to deliver file reference only rather than the file itself
- Ability to specify XML or custom data formats
- Data transformation on outbound retrieve
