In April 2001, an organizational change was announced in the TPF development lab. Maria Boonie moved on to a new and challenging opportunity in the IBM Server Division, working with the zSeries hardware team, and I succeeded Maria as the Manager of TPF Development.

I have worked in a number of different areas in IBM before coming to the TPF development lab almost 3 years ago. This is indeed a wonderful place to work. TPF developers have outstanding dedication to each other, to the product, and most importantly, to you our customers. Our working relationship with you is truly unique, and this newsletter is just one way that the TPF lab tries to promote strong communication. I intend to continue to maintain our customer focus.

I enjoyed the opportunity to meet several of you at the TPFUG meeting in Toronto, and I am looking forward to meeting and working with all of you in my new role.
