ABSTRACT:
CDC Client creates a long-running ECB in program CTS7

COMMENTS:
Upon starting, the CDC Client opens a connection to the CDC
real-time MQ queue on TPF for reading real-time data. The
connection to the real-time queue remains open for the life of
the client. An MQ ECB exists on TPF for the queue connection as
long as the connection is open. The result is a long-running
ECB on TPF which will prevent ZOLDR ACCEPTs from completing.
 

SOLUTION:
The solution is for the CDC Client to limit the time it will
keep a connection open to the CDC real-time MQ queue on TPF.
The maximimum time is set to 30 seconds.

This change requires users to download the latest version
(Version 1.4.8) of the CDC client at:
http://www.ibm.com/software/htp/tpf/download/tools.htm.
