ABSTRACT:
Continuous data collection (CDC) z/TPFDF databases cannot be
captured or restored using z/TPFDF CRUISE.

COMMENTS:
The CDC z/TPFDF database consists of index file IRC0DF (record
ID FCA0) and a referenced detail pool file IRC1DF (record ID
FCA1). Since IRC1DF is a B+Tree file (with B+Tree index file
IRC2DF, record ID FCA2) with a multi-ECB definition in the
DBDEF, it has to be captured or packed using FCA1 file version
(FVN) 3. The forward path from the IRC0DF index referencing
IRC1DF FVN=3 is not defined and therefore the database cannot
be processed by CRUISE.
 

SOLUTION:
The DBDEF for IRC0DF (FCA0) in segment uf1t.asm has been
updated with a new FVN=1 definition to be used by CRUISE that
will use FCA1 FVN=3.

MIGRATION CONSIDERATIONS:
In order to capture or pack a CDC TPFDF database, you must use 
file version 1 of file IRC0DF in your CRUISE parameter table.  
Use the REF-FCA0 and FVN-1 parameters on the ZFCRU SETUP 
command.
