COMMENTS:  
When the debugger sends a change packet to the front end, a  
fixed-length field is used to store the data. Certain routines would  
overwrite the end of this field, causing unpredictable results.  
   

SOLUTION:  
The function query routine has been updated so that it does not  
overwrite the end of the storage area.
