ABSTRACT OF PROBLEM

After  installing  TPF support for VSAM data sets, PJ26150, mul- 
tiple volume VSAM datasets are not successfully mounted. 
 

COMMENTS ON PROBLEM 
___________________ 
Current GDS support does not allow multiple volume VSAM datasets 
having the same dsname and ddname to be mounted on TPF.    While 
the  first  volume  of  a  dataset  can be mounted successfully, 
attempts to mount subsequent volumes  fail  with  error  message 
DSMG0046E sent from segment CVGE. 
 

SOLUTION

In  segment  CVGE,  allow multiple volumes of VSAM datasets with 
the same dsname and ddname to be mounted.
