COMMENTS:
When using the TPF Merge Tool with the log file option, error messages
from the JAVA virtual machine or the TPF Merge Tool are printed to the
command prompt and they are not saved in the log file. User may run the
merge tool, then examine the log file for the merge results, and the
user may not notice any errors from the log file.
SOLUTION:
When the log file option is specified in the TPF Merge Tool, error
messages are logged in the log file instead of being displayed at the
command prompt.

MIGRATION CONSIDERATIONS:
The self-extracting executable for this fix is available through the
TPF Merge Tool Web page. Download the fix, double-click the executable,
and then specify the path that has the TPF Merge Tool installed. The
executable will replace the necessary files in the appropriate
directories.
