eDelivery for ALCS 2.4.1

In addition to delivery on CDROM ALCS 2.4.1 is available for download using IBM eDelivery procedure. This allows licensed customers to access the same information provided on CD by using the internet. For more information on eDelivery go to "Downloading full product versions."
 

TPFDF Maintenance

• TPFDF maintenance is handled through the TPF web site.
  Link to the TPFDF maintenance page.
   

  TPFDF APARs that apply to ALCS

  • Have the string "alcs" in the name of the downloadable file. For example PK13205.alcs.tar.Z is a TPFDF APAR with ALCS binary components in an "alcs.tar.Z" file.
  • The "ascii.tar.Z" file for an APAR contains information describing the APAR (DESCRIBE) and for ALCS the SMP/E format aparfix (APARFIX).


• In the TPFDF maintenance area
  1. Select a specific TPFDF PUT level and APAR description page,
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the description page, and
  3. Click "login once" to access the maintenance server.
  4. You can either scroll through the server page showing all the TPFDF APARs to download those you want, or
     Click Back a few times on your browser then click "ALCS Package" to begin downloading only the ALCS portion of the selected APAR.
  
  
• If you do login to the TPFDF maintenance server, you must sign out before you can login to download ALCS maintenance or other files.
