ATC0246 Allow system limits bigger than 64K

REQUEST PRIORITY:

1. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

Some of the system limits especially the GETFC limit is not of much use if you have applications which needs (more) than 64K records to be obtained. This is potentially dangerous.

2. STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT:

We can not restrict some applications which need to do more than 64K of GETFC's. This is a potential serious risk if the application goes into a real loop. Extension of the system limits to 4 bytes from the current 2 will allow any limit to be set. The same applies, of a lesser seriousness to the ECB life limit as well.
