 | CICS® Business Event Publisher for MQSeries® V1.2: CICS Business Event Publisher for MQSeries, V1.2 enables extension and re-use of existing CICS applications, through events, to drive new business processes and utilize new technology. This can be done quickly and without changes to existing applications. It generates user-defined WebSphere MQ messages as a result of certain EXEC CICS commands being executed by an application, or when VSAM, DB2 or IMS data is modified. This message generation is transparent to the application program, which remains unchanged when CICS BEP V1.2 is used. Rules control the generation of the WebSphere MQ messages, which are defined using a Microsoft Windows-based GUI. The rules allow the user to determine which events are published and also the content of the resulting messages.
