| It’s not practical to rebuild every Web application from scratch. Transforming the existing Web applications into global applications becomes a key factor towards success, but not without any challenges.
The article is mainly composed of three sections: 1) Factors to be considered before Globalization (G11N) transformation 2) An introduction of the limitation when doing the retrofit 3) Explanation of the implementation process and method.
This article goes over what should be included when considering the work of globalizing an existing Web application. By knowing which G11N features to include or not, the scope of the G11N work can then be defined. It also addresses the main process of globalizing an existing Web application.
