Globalize your On Demand Business

The Mozilla project provides globalized, open-source tools for Web browsing, communications and composition.

Executive summary

"The Mozilla project was launched by Netscape in 1998. Currently, Mozilla is an open source Web tool (including a Web browser, an e-email/newsgroup client and a Web page composer) that is available for Windows, Linux, AIX and other operating systems. In this article, we focus on Mozilla browser’s localization and internationalization features, and all references to “Mozilla” refer to the Mozilla Web browser.

"The Mozilla family (including the current Netscape browser) is globally enabled, and they share common source code from which a single binary executable can be created that supports a wide variety of languages. We provide a brief introduction to Mozilla globalization features, starting with localization and then internationalization support."
