Software globalization (G11N) includes internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n). Software internationalization enables you to deal with multilingual data, to handle country & language differences, and can work correctly on different NLS (National Language Support) operating systems without modification. Software localization means that software has been “translated” to a local version. Software UI, documentations and other presentation materials are written or presented in the native language. If the software has both internationalization support and localization capability, we call it globalization software.
