- Established in 1997, jStart is a worldwide program for "jump-starting" the investigation and implementation of emerging Internet technologies. Our explicit mission is to work with customers to evaluate which technologies, among the many choices and options, could bring the most business value to their enterprises. We take credit for helping to bring java, j2ee, web services, open source, and web 2.0 into IBM's portfolio of products and services. Our team's capabilities include:
- Accessibility
- Application Wikis
- Autonomic Computing
- Business Process Monitoring
- Enerprise Service Bus
|
- Firefox
- Open Source (WAS CE)
- pHp Scripting Language
- Rich Client e.g. Ajax
- Text & Data Mining
|
- The jStart Program is delivered by an experienced team of Engagement Managers and Solution Architects, with technical and implementation capabilities provided by our own IBM-certified software laboratories. We are represented in all IBM geographies.
- Our jStart customer engagement model is based on proven software development methodologies which connect client business objectives to the capabilities of emerging Internet technologies. We employ a use-case driven approach, TEAM Method, that is shared by our GBS colleagues.
