The VideoCharger Player is a Windows NT®/98/ME/2000/XP application that can play both audio and video media files either locally on the same computer, or remotely (in real-time) from the VideoCharger Server using a network streaming connection.
To download and set up the VideoCharger Player for Windows®, complete the following steps:
- Verify that your system meets the requirements listed in VideoCharger Player Requirements.
- Download the VideoCharger installation file that applies to you:
Launch the *.msi file you downloaded to install the VideoCharger Player.
Launch the VideoCharger Player.
Normally it is not necessary to configure the Player but if you get connection messages and problems related to firewall considerations, complete these steps:
- From the VideoCharger Player window, click Options Preferences.
- Click the Network tab.
- Select the connection type that your workstation uses. If you are using DSL, select Dual ISDN.
- Click OK.
- Go to Configuring the VideoCharger Player to Play Through a Corporate Firewall.
