IBM U2 Web Development Environment for UniData and UniVerse (U2 Web DE) is comprised of multiple components including the U2 Web DE Server, the Gateway and the Scheduler. U2Web DE 4.3 requires UniData 6.1 or higher on an applicable hardware. If UniVerse is the data server being used, a release of 10.1.18 or higher on Windows or 10.1.15 on UNIX is required. The U2 Web DE server resides on the same server as the UniData or UniVerse data server. See the U2 Product Availability Matrix data server requirements. The Gateway and Scheduler components may be installed on separate servers for scalability, and support the following hardware platforms:
