Information Management software
Technical detail

Options for advanced and specialized functions offer the flexibility to start small and grow your system function by function.

AFP2WEB Technologies offerings transform and manipulate AFP data into various different formats for both loading data into OnDemand and displaying AFP data on the Web. They are tightly integrated with OnDemand and the OnDemand Web Enablement Kit.

CD-ROM -- Client Data Distribution (ad-hoc CD-ROM) extends the capabilities of the CM OnDemand client by letting users extract data from an CM OnDemand server and write it to media that can be easily distributed. Other users can then access the OnDemand data from the CD-ROM in the same way that they access data that is stored in an OnDemand server. The ad-hoc CD-ROM services offering is designed for low-volume, ad-hoc building of a CD-ROM by an end-user with the OnDemand client.

CD-ROM - Production Data Distribution services offering supports high-volume, batch processing of input files and documents and the production of multiple copies of CD-ROMs. The Production Data Distribution services offering is designed for bulk data processing and the distribution of many reports on a regular schedule. The Production Data Distribution services offering is a highly scalable solution and allows you to include user-defined files along with the OnDemand index data and documents.

CICS/ESA® Client is an option to provide access to OnDemand from host environments with 3270 terminals, an optional CICS/ESA client is available. This interface allows users to retrieve and view documents that are stored on the server and has many of the same capabilities as the other client programs. The CICS® client provides support for line-data viewing and text-based viewing of AFP documents.

Email Notification and Delivery Services allow email notifications to any user.

Extraction and Document Assembly from StreamServe can extract and assemble content stored in IBM Content Manager OnDemand -- based on the request, the original content and the intended recipient. Organizations can now reuse content from invoices, statements, notifications and reports to deliver information as an on demand service. Content Manager OnDemand and StreamServe together can generate precise reports by automating report processing, reducing the manual gathering of data and bundling of multiple documents. And it can extract information from documents to create customized document packages based on the needs of your organization’s internal and government compliance requirements.

Knowledge Capture from e-ASL (now called Integritie) captures and archives any file on your desktop by dragging and dropping documents into Content Manager OnDemand.

Kofax Ascent Capture Integration is an optional feature which uniquely extends the standard Kofax Ascent capture capabilities and the OnDemand archive capabilities. It supports a high-volume production scanning operation that scans, extracts index data, saves the documents in a format that can be stored in OnDemand, and then automatically loads the documents and index data into OnDemand.

PDF Indexer is an optional feature that extracts index data from Adobe PDF input files and generates relevant index data in the OnDemand Library Server to support user searching. PDF indexing is supported by the OnDemand GUI administrator which allows end users to define folder, applications and application group definitions using the Wizard interface seamlessly with line data and PDF data streams.

Report distribution automates report organization and distribution.

Report Mining. Monarch software, separately available from Datawatch, provides advanced report mining - allowing users to sort, select and extract pertinent data from report pages for analysis and creating graphical views, or uncovering patterns or trends buried in otherwise static report data. Integration lets OnDemand harness the power of the information contained within reports stored in OnDemand. OnDemand users identify a list of reports that they want to analyze. These reports are then retrieved by OnDemand and automatically passed to Monarch, where the user can query, sort, analyze, and chart all of the data contained within the reports. In essence, the reports become live databases that are easily accessible through OnDemand. Monarch integration is included with the client installation .

XENOS Transforms and Datastream Support An OnDemand services offering provides the integration to support a broad set of print datastreams with separately priced Xenos Transforms
