IBM Redbooks provide positioning and value guidance, installation and implementation experiences, typical solution scenarios, and step-by-step "how-to" guidelines. They often include sample code and other support materials that are also available as downloads. Redbooks are available as hardcopy books, as CD-ROM collections, and on the Internet.
Soon to be released IP&S Redbooks include the following:
- WebSphere QualityStage Methodologies, Standardization and Matching - provides an overview of the architecture and functionality of IBM Information Server's WebSphere QualityStage module including add-on modules. Includes all dimensions of data cleansing, standardization and matching rules, job design and deployment
- IBM Information Server DataStage Data Flow and Job Design, - provides an overview of the architecture and functionality of IBM Information Server 8.0.1's DataStage component, and describe a step by step approach to implementing features via usage scenarios such as unit-of-work (UOW) operator with MQ and DB2, implementation of Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 slowly changing dimensions, and access to mainframe data through classic federation, Complex Flat File and Multiformat File stages.
