IBM Metadata Workbench must be installed on the domain layer of IBM Information Server. The domain layer contains WebSphere Application Server and the IBM Information Server services. You do not need to install any IBM Metadata Workbench or IBM Information Server components on the IBM Metadata Workbench client machine. The IBM Metadata Workbench uses Microsoft Internet Explorer as the client. These are the minimum operating requirements. Evaluate and adjust the configuration based on your unique environment.
