WebSphere Classic Federation Server for z/OS V9.1 has six features each of which provides data access for one of these data sources: IBM DB2 for z/OS, IMS, Computer Associates CA-Datacom, Computer Associates CA-IDMS, Software AG Adabas, and VSAM. All WebSphere Classic Federation Server for z/OS V9.1 product features provide access to sequential data. WebSphere Classic Federation Server for z/OS V9.1 is shipped with JDBC and CLI client software and with the Classic Data Architect, an interactive metadata management tool. WebSphere Classic Federation Server for z/OS V9.1 replaces WebSphere Information Integrator Classic Federation for z/OS V8.2. System requirements are given for both the V8.2 and V9.1 products.
