Machine Specific Notes:
=======================


1. This release of C-ISAM is built and tested on HP-UX 11.00.


2. This release supports C-ISAM files (index files, data files, transaction
   files and audit trail files) of size greater than 2GB using special
   API's which are described in the operating system man pages
   (open64, creat64, lseek64, etc.). Please refer to the document
   /usr/share/doc/lg_files.txt for more information on these API's.


3. Please refer to the information provided in the release notes in order
   to migrate to this version of C-ISAM.


4. Please check that the file system is configured to support files of
   size grater than 2GB. Please refer to operating system man pages of
   "fsadm" or the document /usr/share/doc/lg_files.txt for more information
   on how to configure a file system to support files of size grater than 2GB.


5. Please ensure that the "ulimit" value is set appropriately so that
   files of size greater than 2GB can be created by C-ISAM.


6. All the C-ISAM applications need to be compiled with the C compiler
   options " +DS2.0 +DA1.1 " and should be linked with -lsec library.
