Informa, an IBM Business Partner and leading provider of custom data management solutions in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, has improved its business by upgrading to Informix Dynamic Server (IDS ) 11.
IDS has been a part of Informa’s IT infrastructure for the past 20 years. By upgrading to the latest release of the Informix data server, Informa has cut down on administrative costs, hardware requirements, application development time and overall total cost of ownership. Informa has also seen response times up to seven times faster, thus increasing sales and customer retention. Informa is so impressed with IDS that it is beta testing the next version, code-named Cheetah 2.
