 | IBM IMS Parameter Manager enables IMS system programmers to control the specification and maintenance of IMS parameter library members by simplifying parameter management and by providing increased levels of parameter control. With IMS Parameter Manger, V1.1, you specify IMS start-up, performance, and operational parameters with either ISPF dialog panels or the integrated ISPF editor. This provides the capabilities to perform syntax and value checking, to perform automatic parameter card construction, and to provide history files of your IMS parameter members. IMS Parameter Manager cuts down on system programmer time and reduces the risk of programmer errors in defining IMS operational parameters, and performance characteristics. IMS Parameter Manager also provides reliability and migration assistance when upgrading to newer versions of IMS. - Enables IMS Administrators to control the specification and maintenance of IMS parameter library members.
