IBM IMS High Performance Unload provides an API that enables application programs to efficiently leverage the tool's high performance retrieval techniques. IMS HP Load works with IMS HP Unload to enable you to load compressed data that was previously unloaded in a compressed format.  - Enhance to the Unload utility that provides JCL compatibility with the IMS HD Reorganization Unload utility (DFSURGU0)
- Adds a check record to an unload file which is used by IMS High Performance Load V2 to check with DBRC for database updated done between unload and reload processing
- Creates unload files that can be used to migrate a non-HALDB database to HALDB
- Enhancements to the API that supports a Qualified Segment Search Argument (SSA) in a GN call to retrieve the root segment or the second level dependent segment.
- Some of the other enhancements with IMS HP Unload V2.1 include improved documentation and performance improvements
