Basic functions on all platforms

• Helps reduce maintenance windows.
• Reads directly from the table space files to provide quick access to DB2 data.
• Unloads tables to one or more files based on a format that you specify without impacting your production tables.
• Provides fast SQL-like SELECT capabilities, such as filtering columns and rows using a WHERE clause or modifying unloaded values using column scalar functions.
• Unloads a sampling of data (for example, every nth row).
• Takes advantage of many autonomic data type conversions and formats, such as date and time.
